FRED- OCH SÄKERHETSUTSKOTTET
Det nystartade utskottet Fred och Säkerhet har som mål att adressera frågor kring FNs arbete och de globala mål specifikt relaterade till fred och säkerhet. Vi planerar att arrangera evenemang och andra initiativ för att sprida kunskap och medvetenhet om dessa ämnen. Som ett nystartat utskott söker vi nu entusiastiska medlemmar som vill engagera sig och bidra till att forma och driva utskottets arbete framåt.

The newly established Peace and Security Committee aims to address issues related to the work of the United Nations and the Sustainable Development Goals specifically related to peace and security. We plan to organize events and other initiatives to spread knowledge and awareness about these topics. As a newly formed committee, we are now seeking enthusiastic members who want to get involved and contribute to shaping and driving the committee’s work forward.

mÄNSKLIGA rÄTTIGHETSUTSKOTTET
Det nya Mänskliga Rättighetsutskottet ska arbeta med att sprida kunskap om FN:s insatser för mänskliga rättigheter och demokrati. Genom att arrangera aktiviteter som studiebesök, föreläsningar och andra evenemang strävar utskottet efter att öka medvetenheten om hur mänskliga rättigheter kan tillgodoses och respekteras både lokalt och globalt. Vårt mål är att främja rättvisa och jämlikhet för att bidra till en mer inkluderande och jämställd värld!

The Human Rights Committee strives to raise awareness of the UN’s work on human rights and democracy. By arranging activities such as study visits, lectures and other events, the Committee endeavors to raise awareness of how human rights can be achieved and respected both locally and globally. Our goal is to promote justice and equality to contribute to a more inclusive and equal world!

Klimatutskottet
I Klimatutskottet jobbar vi med att förbättra miljön på en lokal nivå. Utskottet arbetar med detta genom att sprida kunskap och ta aktiva åtgärder. Evenemang som utskottet kan hålla är workshops, städ dagar, gästföreläsningar med mer. Miljörelaterade problem är viktiga och utskottets mål är att tillsammans jobba med detta på ett stimulerande och inspirerande sätt!

The climate committee of the UN Association of Lund is focusing on improving the environment on a local level. The committee does this by educating as well as taking active measues. Events held by the committee could be workshops, clean-up days, guest lectures and more. Climate related problems are important and the committees goal is to collectively work with these in a stimulating and inspiring manner!

sKOL- OCH UNGDOMSUTSKOTTET
Skol-och ungdomsutskottet arbetar för att öka kunskapen om FN, mänskliga rättigheter och de globala målen för barn-och ungdomar. Detta gör vi genom flera olika sorters aktiviteter, såsom att föreläsa på skolor, hjälpa till med arrangemanget av FN-rollspel. Vårt mål är att uppmuntra barn och elever att engagera sig i rättighets- och FN frågor. Vi samarbetar även med de andra utskotten inom Lunds FN-förening, samt andra civilsamhällesorganisationer och hjälporganisationer. Detta gör vi genom att bland annat hålla i workshops och föreläsningar för barn och ungdomar. Vi har även anordnat läxhjälp i samarbete med hjälporganisationer.

The School and Youth Committee works to increase knowledge about the UN, human rights, and the global goals for children and youth. We do this through various activities, such as giving lectures at schools and assisting in organizing UN role-playing events. Our goal is to encourage children and students to engage in rights and UN-related issues. We also collaborate with other committees within the Lund UN Association, as well as other civil society organizations and aid groups. This includes conducting workshops and lectures for children and youth. Additionally, we have organized tutoring sessions in collaboration with aid organizations.
